VEDRO & VILLAGE 36 - RESTAURANTS IN GOA

VEDRO & VILLAGE 36

Village 36 is an Asian street food restaurant, and we choose to restore a mid-century Portuguese Goan villa, to create an ambience of tribal and eclectic arts and crafts of rural Indian villages. The palate is playful and a combination of batik and tie dye prints in bright muted primary colours. Our walls are textured muted grey limestone in tonality. The ridged ceilings are high and there are skylight windows to bring in lighter.

This eatery in Panjim has a beautiful tinge of Goan designs and artefacts. Chic décor in the room is further enhanced with cool furniture pieces, framed movie posters, accents on the walls, mirrors, unique showpieces, etc. Vedro feels earthy, with its warmth and natural overtones. Green leaves painted on the white walls, jute and wooden art pieces, crochet chandeliers, and similar items lend it a very stylish, elegant and welcoming.
